Notes

Notes are quick, timestamped entries — a running record of wins, blockers and anything worth remembering.

A note can optionally be linked to a goal or milestone and grouped under it (Goal: … / Milestone: …). Notes appear in your review as context.

Use Edit beside a note to update it in place, or Delete to remove it.

Team Notes — managers and HR

Team Notes is a private, running diary you keep about each of your people — dated observations through the period, on hand at review time instead of scrambling to remember.

It's the panel directly below Team Goals in your /me sidebar. Managers see their direct reports; HR sees everyone, searchable. Press View Notes beside a person to open their diary.

Write as many as you like. Each is rich text and stamped with the date it was posted, newest first. Edit or delete your own at any time — delete offers an undo.

Private by default: only you see your notes about someone, and HR can see everyone's for oversight. The employee never sees a note — until you choose to add it to one of their reviews.

Adding notes to a review

When you conduct someone's review, a Team Notes section lists your notes about them, each with an Include in this review tick. You can also write a new one on the spot.

Ticked notes ride along on the review under Notes from your reviewer, with your name and the posted date, and appear in the review PDF. Untick to take one back off.

The employee sees an included note only once the review reaches them — never while you're still drafting, so you can add and remove freely as you write.
